13th February 2011 was the last day of the eighth International Winterbather's Rally – the biggest event like this in Poland. This year 1312 people from 5 Countries took part in the event. For all participants many attractions were prepared. Apart from the typical points of the program Winterbathers could also take part in “Mrozoodporni” Tournament, Fire Walking Academy, Mielno Wedding Chapel, Nording Walking tutorial, Zorbing and many more.
During the „Mrozoodporni 2011” Tournament nine teams fought for the Trophy and the key to Mielno. After the competitions: “the Winterbather commando”, „mega cylinder”, „ Sea relay race” and „the Winterbather gladiator” the winner became the Wintherbather's Club Dębowa z Kędzierzyna Koźla.
Second place (ex aequo) “Kaloryfer Club from Cracow and Winterbather's Club from Kudowa
Third place: Wintherbather's Club from Police
Fourth place: YETI Winterbather's Club from Leszno
Fifth place: “Ice breakers” from Margonin
During Fire Walking Academy only the bravest Winterbathers walked through the glowinghotcoals in a assist of the Salamander Theater.
From Thursday till Saturday operated a Mielno Wedding Chapel, giving all the willing opportunity to be wed. This “marriage” is only valid during every Rally and only in Mielno. 57 couples decided to say “Yes” in this unique place.
According to the Rally tradition a Winterbather's Ball was held at Saturday. Like every Year the number of participants was limited to 1000 people. For the rest another – smaller – banquet was organized in the Holiday Resort KROKUS. Both events were kept in the Tropical Islands theme.
The last day of the Rally was opened with a Winterbather's Parade. Over 1300 people walked along the Mielno Streets dressed in colorful disguises. There were: aliens from Mars, Pirates, Sailors and many many more.
After arriving to the beach everyone waited only for the siren – the sign to get into water. Exactly at noon the Bigest in Poland Winter Bath started with a laud exclamation.
