Not many days divide us from the most important event in the Winterbathers' calendar 2011/2012, that is:
IXth INTERNATIONAL WINTERBATHERS' RALLY in Mielno!!!
The most important part is the date: as usual we meet at the middle of February, more precise: 10-12 February 2012. But reserve more time as we've prepared many Winter attractions for the entire week. For this year's Rally, we've gained part-financing from the European Union (European Regional Development Fund) within South Baltic Programme. Project name: “South Baltic Winter Bathing Events”
For the first time the COLDPROOF tournament will be organized on International scale. A series of varied competitions will, with no doubt, draw out fighting spirit in all of Winter Bathing enthusiasts.
Also for the first time we will try to find scientific evidence that Winter Bathing is a healthy way of live. Every participant will have an opportunity to take an infrared photo before and after the Winter Bath. Based on the photos a series of medical lectures and consultations with doctors will take place.
Another new attraction of this year's Rally will be 80s and 90s rhythms Disco starting on Friday and lasting till the dawn.
The most important spot of the World's Capital of all Winterbathers - Mielno beach will be filled with attractions directed to Winterbathers but also to all who would really like to try. Relay-races, hare and hounds, zoorbing, aeribic, fire walking and, of course, Winter Baths.
These and many more will avait Winter Bathing enthusiasts on this one unique weekend in Mielno
